A new casino on the Southport Waterfront development is nearly ready to open its doors.
The Genting Casino will feature a full programme of entertainment, a restaurant and underground parking in addition to its gaming facilities.
The casino, which cost £30 million to develop, is expecting to open in March.
Genting will become the second tenant at the multi-million pound site on Marine Lake, they will be joining tapas bar Finos which has been the only resident there for the past 15 months.
The casino is currently undergoing its finishing touches, when complete there will be 14 gaming tables in the main games room. The tables will be joined by an electronic roulette and slots machine area all of which will e overlooked by a poker room.
The casino will also feature a bar area complete with dance floor and stage as well as a restaurant which has an outdoor space overlooking the Waterfront’s downstairs terrace.
The general manager, Paul Smith, said, “We are all working hard to create the very best casino in the region and we are looking forward to moving into the Waterfront.”
