Scotland’s Alan Gold began the final table of the Full tilt Poker UKIPT Galway Main Event as the chip leader and after just four hours of play he was the winner following one of the fastest final tables the UKIPT has ever witnessed.

In one of the fastest final tables ever seen at the UKIPT, Alan Gold demolished his competitors to win the Main Event.
Gold is best known for playing pot-limit Omaha on PokerStars but qualified for this event through Full Tilt Poker which means he won the Full tilt Last Longer Promotion as well and will receive free entries to the Main Events at all the remaining stops for the fourth season of the UKIPT as well as the €187,494 he won at the final table.
It wasn’t very long at all before Gold found himself heads up against Paul Febers, Febers was holding 4.755 million chips while Gold was way ahead with 12 million.
The heads-up was just as quick as every other part of the final table and in the end Gold won turning trips against Febers’ two pair. However, Febers won’t be too disappointed he still walked away with second place and €149,906.
