Eyevis UK, one of the world’s leading audio-visual experts, has supplied a new security system to London’s top casinos in order to help catch cheats and ensure correct payouts are made.Eyevis, which was established 7 years ago, has provided the technology behind a cutting-edge security control room for Genting UK’s offices in Mayfair. The founder of Eyevis, Steve Murphy, explained that the centre will monitor table games across the capital city and play a vital role in making sure that the games are not infiltrated by cheats as well as ensuring that casino staff are operating the tables correctly.
He went onto say that Eyevis’ video wall is central to the operation as it “brings what is happening out on the casino floor into sharp focus.” He said that HD screens will allow operators to zoom in on anything that they believe is suspicious.
The video wall is comprised of six 46” industrial LCD screens, transmission cables and a controller. At present the system is linked to six high profile London casinos including Genting’s flagship casino Crockfords, the world’s oldest private members gaming club.
Also covered by the system are the Colony Club, Maxims Casino Club, the Palm Beach and Cromwell Mint casinos.
