Gambling operator 32Red, licensed in Gibraltar, has reached an agreement to purchase the UK customer database of Go Wild Casino from its parent company Go Wild Malta Ltd.

32Red has bought Go Wild’s UK customer database and will be migrating players across over the coming week.
Matt Booth, the commercial director for 32Red has said that the acquisition fits well with the company’s growth strategy for the UK market. He described the transfer of players as “low-risk and seamless” as both sites use the Microgaming platform and games content.
Booth explained that players will use the same login and passwords and said that the company will be “active in showcasing the 32Red experience” to the new players.
Go Wild was licensed in Malta in 2009 and caters to numerous European gambling markets. The sale of its UK customer database comes just before the introduction of the 15% point of consumption tax. The new tax is expected to result in a number of smaller operators leaving the UK market due to higher regulatory and tax costs.
